This includes PK Ripper, Floval Flyer, Aluminum Quadangles, Race, Inc., FMF, Cycle Pro Spoiler, etc. These Dropout Savers fit the original "Looptail" frames only (through 1984). They will not fit the newer PK Ripper models (1985+). These also will NOT fit the newly re-issued 2009+ PK Ripper, Quadangle, Floval Flyer, and OM bikes. For the newly re-issued 2009+ PK Ripper, Quadangle, Floval Flyer, and OM Flyer bikes, you will need the style I sell for Cro-Mo frames - those will fit the newer re-issued 2009+ retro bikes and frames. The backside of each Dropout Saver has a slotted protrusion that extends into the dropout to locate the axle and protect the dropout. The large backside surface that mates to the dropout face features a completely radiused outer edge. This prevents an otherwise sharp cornered (90º square) edge from marking or gouging the painted, powder coated, or anodized finish of your frame.These Dropout Savers fit the original "Looptail" frames only, as seen in the pics (through 1984). They will not fit the newer PK Ripper models (1985+), or any of the modern SE Racing bikes. Not only do these protect your dropouts, but they look great! These Helix BMX Dropout Savers are CNC machined from heat treated, aircraft quality 6061-T6 aluminum alloy billet. They are then tumble finished to remove any sharp edges to protect your frames finish. This leaves them with a raw aluminum finish. They are designed to be used as-is, but you can also send them out to be anodized any color you want.
